Garage Knights was established in early 2021 by founder Kamil Matynia. We operate as an appointment-only detailing and paint protection business in Ottawa, treating each vehicle with meticulous attention to detail.

We combine modern technology with traditional craftsmanship, focusing on precision and dedication to ensure every client receives personalized service that reflects our commitment to the highest quality standards.

Every project at Garage Knights follows a deliberate process. It starts with a one-on-one consultation where we assess the vehicle's condition, discuss the owner's goals, and recommend the right combination of services. From there, each vehicle is thoroughly decontaminated and prepped before any correction or protection work begins — because proper preparation is what separates lasting results from temporary ones.

We work on one vehicle at a time. No rushing between jobs, no cutting corners to meet volume targets. This appointment-only model means your car has our full attention from start to finish, whether it's a single-stage polish or a full-body paint protection film installation. Once the work is complete, we walk through the results together and provide care instructions tailored to the specific products applied.

Kamil's path into automotive detailing began with a deep appreciation for cars and the desire to protect them properly. After years of hands-on experience and a relentless drive to learn, he pursued formal training at AMMO Academy under Larry Kosilla in New York, earned advanced polishing certification at Rupes Academy in Denver, and completed PPF installation training with Christian Kungl of CKWraps right here in Ottawa. Each certification reinforced the same principle: there are no shortcuts to quality work. That philosophy carries through every job at Garage Knights — from a single-stage polish to a full paint protection film installation. Continuous improvement is at the core of what we do. We invest in ongoing education, attend industry events, and evaluate new products and techniques so that every vehicle we touch benefits from the latest advancements in automotive care.

Our purpose-built facility features professional-grade equipment including Kranzle pressure washers, full LED lighting systems, and Swisstrax flooring designed for optimal drainage.

A Stratus mid-rise scissor lift enhances our PPF installation quality, while climate control and efficient workflow design ensure every job meets our exacting standards.

The studio was designed around a single principle: give every vehicle the space and environment it needs to be worked on properly. Controlled lighting reveals imperfections invisible under natural light, climate regulation keeps film and coatings at optimal application temperatures, and a clean, organized workspace reduces the risk of contamination at every stage.
